I am a screenwriter & director interested in independent cinema, global

narratives & a return to shooting on celluloid.

After studying at Hunter College’s Cinema Studies program, I graduated

from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's in Film and

Television Production. I have directed many short films, including A

Prescribed Burn of a Savanna Oak and Framed, and written several feature

screenplays. My short films have screened at local and international film

festivals, including New York Indie Short Film Festival, Mirada Corta

International Film Festival and Paris Short Film Festival.

In August 2023, I participated in PlayLab Films Creator’s Lab with

Apichatpong Weerasethakul in Yucatán, Mexico. Under the guidance of

the Thai director, I made the short film I Caught a Glimpse of Myself,

Briefly.

I am currently in post-production of a short documentary about women in

esports, in association with 1,000 Dreams Fund and Riot Games.

My interests lie in non-distinct geographical identities, classical dance,

slow narratives and global music.

I am also the founder of WabiSabi Films, LLC, a production company

interested in slow cinema, shooting on celluloid and independent

filmmaking. Although created to support my own short films, the

company is intended to produce films that express a similar interest in

experimental, slow, and intentional cinema.
